To Help Identify Chesapeake Jewelry Store Armed Robbers
The FBI Norfolk Field Office and the United States Postal Inspection Service is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals responsible for an October 9, 2025 jewelry store armed robbery in Chesapeake, VA. The robbery occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. at the Greenbrier Mall located at 1401 Greenbrier Pkwy, Chesapeake, VA 23320.
Surveillance video located by investigators revealed the suspects entered the mall separately, using a department store entrance. Suspect #1 entered the mall first with a large white cloth covering his face and suspect #2 entered a few seconds later wearing a medical mask over his face.
Both suspects were armed and held four victims, including two United States Postal Service (USPS) letter carriers, at gunpoint while the robbery occurred.
Both then fled the store at approximately 3:31 p.m. just outside the upper level of the mall near a commercial truck entrance.
The suspects escaped with a large amount of jewelry and a U.S. Postal mail scanner.
Suspect #1 is described as a Black male wearing white sweatpants, a dark hoodie with a white shirt underneath, and a dark-colored hat, with a heavy build.
Suspect #2 is described as a Black male wearing a blue sport coat and pants, a pink dress shirt, a dark-colored bucket hat, sunglasses, and a black medical mask.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the suspects responsible for these crimes. Additional reward money may be available.
The public is encouraged to share any personal videos or photos taken at, or around, the mall near the time of the robbery.
