Here it is, nearly the end of another year. As we approach the final days of 2006 and anticipate a bright new 2007, we should not forget to reflect and be thankful for those things we have been given throughout this past year - family, great friends, good health, and a country that allows us freedom of speech, religion, and those inalienable rights to go where we choose when we choose.
As we approach the end of another year, I can't help but reflect on how far we've come since that first issue. As we enter our tenth year, our popularity continues to increase with each new expansion. The growth continues to amaze and excite all of us here at the paper. Our new office space (4,500 sq ft) has given us room for new equipment in order to pursue our goal of becoming a number one publication across this state. It's a "work in progress" and we hope you'll stay with us as we see it through another ten years.
Christmas is just five short days away. We're looking forward to spending some quiet, quality time with family and friends and rejuvenating for all the promise ahead of us.
If you should happen to be in Roosevelt over the holidays, give Boston's Lake House Grill a call at 928-467-2626 (reservation seating only) for a fabulous New Year's Eve dinner (choice of lobster & steak; grilled salmon & steak; or crab legs & steak - appetizer, dessert and personal bottle of champagne included). After you've filled your tummy, head over to Roosevelt Lake Resort for an evening of fun and dancing to the music of Mustang Sally and the Rounders. They play a mix of oldies and country western tunes.
We'll see you next year. Until then . . take care.
