FBI Looking For Serial Robber

PHOENIX, Arizona Phoenix FBI Special Agent in Charge John E. Lewis, announced that the FBI is seeking the publics assistance in identifying a serial bank robber responsible for four robberies and one attempted robbery since October 12, 2007.
On October 12, 2007, a white male attempted to rob a bank in Flagstaff, Arizona. This bank was located inside a local Flagstaff grocery store. After this attempt, on the same date at approximately 4:10 p.m., this unidentified male successfully robbed a bank on 31 st Avenue and Carefree Highway, Phoenix, Arizona. This bank was also located inside a grocery store.
On October 18, 2007 at about 11:30 a.m., it is believed this individual robbed a second bank in a local Litchfield Park grocery store at Dysart Road and Indian School Road. On October 24, 2007, this individual robbed a third bank and then a fourth on November 09, 2007; both in Phoenix, Arizona.
In all robberies the subject confronted victim tellers displaying a black handgun and demanding money.
This subject is described as a white or Hispanic male, approximately 40 to 50 years old, approximately 6 in height, with a medium to heavy build at approximately 200 pounds. He appears to have short gray hair with a small mustache. He has been seen wearing a cowboy hat with a grey hooded sweat shirt and on other occasions a blue and black, long sleeve windbreaker, and an orange and black San Francisco Giants baseball cap.
The FBI is working jointly with the Maricopa County Sheriffs Office, Flagstaff Police Department, Phoenix Police Department, and Gilbert Police Department to identify and apprehend this subject. Anyone with information concerning these robberies or the subject pictured in bank surveillance photographs distributed with this release is urged to call the Phoenix FBI Field Division at 602-279-5511 or their local authorities. Callers are not required to identify themselves. Armed bank robbery is a violent crime and the public should use caution and not attempt to detain any robbery subjects.
