Hunt permit applications for the spring 2006 hunts must be received by the Arizona Game and Fish Department by 7 p.m. on Oct. 11, 2005. Completed paper application forms, along with payment for license, tag and application fees, can be hand-delivered or mailed to any Arizona Game and Fish Department office. There is no online application option for the spring 2006 draw. Remember, if you're mailing your application, it must be in the possession of the Game and Fish Department by Oct. 11; postmarks don't count. You must obtain a 2006 license to participate in the draw. If you don't already have a 2006 license at the time you submit your hunt application form, you'll need to apply for a license and include payment at the time you submit your application. (Remember, if you are not already licensed for 2006, you must apply for a license and include fees with each application you submit. If you are drawn for more than one genus, only one license will be issued in your name). Application forms, as well as spring hunt regulation supplements for javelina, turkey, buffalo and bear, are available at all Arizona Game and Fish Department offices, at license dealers throughout the state, and online at the department's Web site. Draw results will be available no later than Nov. 18 either by calling (602) 942-3000 and pressing 2 (telephone toll charges may apply) or by visiting the department's Web site (no service fee). Hunt permit-tags will be mailed by Nov. 18 to applicants who are successful in the draw.
