Extended Hours of Operation at Nogales Ports of Entry

U.S. and Mexico Ports to Stay Open During Holidays NOGALES, AZ - U.S. Customs and Border Protection, along with Agencia Aduanal De Mexico and Agencia Migracion De Mexico have finalized a plan to extend the hours of operation for the ports of entry in Nogales, Arizona and Nogales, Sonora during the upcoming holiday season. The extension is in response to the heavy and predictable growth in traffic during the upcoming holiday and produce season. In an effort to help alleviate the time spent waiting to exit and enter the United States and reduce traffic congestion during the holiday season, the Nogales West (Mariposa) port of entry will open at 6:00 am and remain open until midnight on November 25, 26, and 27th. In addition to the extended hours during the Thanksgiving weekend, the agencies have agreed to extend the hours of operation at the Mariposa port of entry for the Christmas holiday, from December 9th through January 9th. The port of entry will open at 6:00 am and close at midnight. The plan to extend the hours of operation was reached jointly between U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Agencia Aduanal De Mexico, Agencia Migracion De Mexico, U.S. Border Patrol, Nogales Police Department, Nogales Sonora Policia Municipal/Transito, the U.S. Consulate in Sonora, the Consulado De General Mexico in Nogales Arizona, the Mayors Office in Nogales Arizona, the Mayors Office in Nogales Sonora, and C4 Sonora.
