(Phoenix) -- Four pregnant cows were shot numerous times and left to die on the Diamond A Ranch, which is located near Seligman. Now, the owner of the ranch, Harvey Dietrich, is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to a conviction in this case. The shooting of these animals is worth an estimated loss of $5,000.
The animals were likely shot on or around February 23rd, and were discovered after a hunter was scouting the area for predators and stumbled across the cows. He then reported the incident to the ranch, who in turn contacted the Arizona Department of Agriculture.
The Arizona Fish and Game Department has also been active in this investigation. As of this time, there are no suspects in the case.
