CBP Officers in San Juan Arrest Alien Female Sought for Homicide

San Juan, Puerto Rico - Early this morning U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers arrested a woman wanted by the Puerto Rico Police Department as the main suspect in a very public homicide case.
Aida De Los Santos-Pineda, 57, presented herself for admission at the Luis Munoz Marin International Airport after arriving from the Dominican Republic.
Law enforcement databases revealed that Ms. De Los Santos was being sought as a suspect in the homicide of the wife of a retired Commonwealth of Puerto Rico Supreme Court Judge.
Immigration databases revealed that Ms. De Los Santos was illegally present in the United States at the time of the alleged incident.
CBP Enforcement Officers paroled Ms. De Los Santos, pending the results of prosecution, transferring her custody to the Puerto Rico Police.
