PRESCOTT, AZ Just days after a contentious Democratic primary, 55 elected Democrats have thrown their support behind Republican Rick Renzi. Congressman Renzi has been well known for working across party lines to solve problems and get the job done. "I am honored by the overwhelming show of support from so many Democrats. Regardless of party affiliation, this job requires working for all of the people, and I think these endorsements are further evidence that together we have delivered for rural Arizona," said Congressman Rick Renzi. Casa Grande Mayor Chuck Walton said, "I study the person, his beliefs, his track record, his promises, his platforms, and then I make my decision, party-be-damned, and I am very proud to endorse Congressman Rick Renzi. He has done a great job for Casa Grande and Pinal County. He has delivered for our community, and in my 45 years of local involvement we have never had such excellent representation." (Printed in Casa Grande Magazine) Greenlee County Supervisor Richard Lunt said, "Congressman Renzi has been a great friend to rural Arizona. He has been in Greenlee County helping us more than any other leader, Democrat or Republican. I am proud to support Rick Renzi." Democrat Officials Endorsements Treasurer Katherine D.
