D-backs Training Centers Summer Camps Now Accepting Registrations

PHOENIX -- Registration is now being accepted for nearly 80 Arizona Diamondbacks Training Centers summer baseball and fast-pitch softball camps. The summer schedule will feature camps in 40 cities statewide, 18 fast-pitch softball camps and five advanced camps, three of which will be located at MLB Spring Training Facilities. Each camp focuses on comprehensive baseball and fast-pitch softball fundamentals for kids six to 18 years old. Participants learn the basics of hitting, fielding, pitching and more with no more than a 1:10 instruction-to-student ratio. Each camp day and session is choreographed to maximize participation and activity time and is structured to provide the best learning environment for each child. The instructors are handpicked by the D-backs organization from a group of former professional players and local collegiate and high school coaches. The Arizona Diamondbacks Training Centers are the official youth baseball and fast-pitch softball camps of the Arizona Diamondbacks. In eight years, over 20,000 kids have "learned to play the Diamondbacks way."
