ATF Offers $10,000 Rewards In Two Seperate Homicides

ST. PAUL (Minn.) Special Agent in Charge Bernard J. Zapor of the St. Paul Field Division, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and Chief Timothy Dolan, Minneapolis Police Department, today announced it is offering individual rewards of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and convictions of those responsible for two homicides involving young children in Minneapolis. "This is an extraordinary expansion of the criminal use of firearms. The loss of a child is a casualty beyond anyones tolerance," Zapor said. "There can be no higher priority than resolution for these families." The first unsolved homicide occurred Dec. 26, at approximately 6:45 p.m., at a singlefamily residence located at 2644 Colfax Ave. North, Minneapolis. An unknown individual(s) shot a bullet through the residence killing Terrell Lamont Mayes, Jr, 3. ATF is seeking the publics help in identifying the suspects involved in both of these unrelated incidents and for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible. The second unsolved and unrelated homicide occurred June 26, at approximately 8:34 a.m., at a singlefamily residence located at 4515 Bryant Ave. North, Minneapolis. An unknown individual(s) shot several bullets into the residence fatally striking fiveyearold Nizzel Anthony George. ATF is offering a separate reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
