-Death Penalty for David Anthony is -Just and Deserved- SAYS Arpaio

Phoenix, AZ - Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his deputies had a vested interest in todays jury decision to put David Anthony to death for the gruesome murders of his wife Donna and her two young children. Justice served Arpaio said today upon hearing the news and though he would like to be, Arpaio cannot quite promise that he will be in the witness chamber when the time comes years from now when Anthony is finally executed for his crimes. Sheriffs deputies were called to the Anthony home in July 2001 after reports surfaced that Donna and her children were missing. Their decayed bodies werent found until 2005 when they were unearthed by a construction crew building a Walmart in Buckeye. Still, despite not having bodies as evidence, Sheriffs detectives hard work was thorough enough to gain a conviction for the three murders in the 2002 trial and the retrial in 2012. Anthony has been inside the 4th Avenue Jail since his arrest in 2001. From jail, he threatened to kill Arpaio and other inmates. Today he left Arpaios jails and is headed to his last permanent home at the Arizona department of Corrections.
