FBI Seeks Potential Victims of Aurora SRO Aaron ‘Jake’ Bunch

The FBI Denver Division, in coordination with the Denver Police Department, is seeking to identify potential victims in the ongoing investigation of Aaron Jacob "Jake" Bunch, who was recently charged with sexual exploitation of a child (sell/publish); sexual exploitation of a child (possession); and sexual exploitation of a child (video)—extraordinary risk.
Bunch is a law enforcement officer who worked as a school resource officer (SRO) and SRO supervisor in multiple schools in Aurora, Colorado. The FBI believes Aaron Jacob "Jake" Bunch may have sought out minor victims while serving in a position of trust, from 2005 to October 2025. All charges at this time are merely allegations. All defendants are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law.
