Drivers should allow extra travel time and plan for possible delays.

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan ahead for lane restrictions on US 95 in Yuma.

Contractors are scheduled to apply asphalt to preserve and seal pavement, stripe the roadway and do related work.

The following restrictions will occur from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, May 20, through Friday, May 24.

US 95 will be narrowed to one lane between Araby Road (milepost 29) and Fortuna Road (milepost 32).
The speed limit on US 95 will be reduced to 25 mph.
Flaggers and a pilot car will direct motorists through the work zone.
A 12-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
