Lower speed limit of 55 mph in effect through work zones

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to slow down and use caution around construction personnel and equipment while the following restrictions are scheduled to be in place during the week of June 10:

19th Avenue at Loop 101

19th Avenue will be closed in both directions between the west- and eastbound Loop 101 frontage roads from 10 p.m. Friday, June 14, to 5 a.m. Monday, June 17.

15th Avenue at Loop 101

The eastbound Loop 101 frontage road at 15th Avenue will be restricted to one lane from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays for approximately 30 days beginning Wednesday, June 12.

Seventh Street at Loop 101

The northbound Seventh Street left-turn bay to westbound Loop 101 continues to be reduced to one lane while work to expand the Loop 101 bridge over Seventh Street is underway.

Cave Creek Road at Loop 101

The eastbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Cave Creek Road will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, through Friday, June 14.
The westbound Loop 101 frontage road west of Cave Creek Road will be restricted to one lane daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, through Friday, June 14.
Eastbound Mohawk Lane will be periodically restricted east of Cave Creek Road from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, June 14.

56th Street at Loop 101

56th Street will be closed in both directions between the west- and eastbound Loop 101 frontage roads from 10 p.m. Friday, June 14, to 5 a.m. Monday, June 17.
The southbound 56th Street left-turn bay to eastbound Loop 101 will be narrowed to one lane beginning Monday, June 10, through summer 2019.

Scheduled Upcoming Closures

Seventh Street at Loop 101

Seventh Street will be closed in both directions between the west- and eastbound Loop 101 frontage roads nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, through the morning of Friday, June 21.
Seventh Street will also be closed in both directions between the west- and eastbound Loop 101 frontage roads from 10 p.m. Friday, June 21, to 5 a.m. Monday, June 24.

Cave Creek Road at Loop 101

The eastbound Loop 101 off-ramp at Cave Creek Road will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, June 17, through the morning of Thursday, June 20.
The westbound Loop 101 frontage road west of Cave Creek Road will be restricted to one lane daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, June 17, and Tuesday, June 18.

56th Street at Loop 101

The south- and northbound 56th Street left-turn bays to east- and westbound Loop 101 will be reduced to one lane beginning Monday, June 17, through summer 2019.

Scottsdale Road at Loop 101

The Scottsdale Road westbound off-ramp will be closed for 60 days beginning at 5 a.m. Monday, June 17.
The Scottsdale Road eastbound on-ramp will be closed for 60 days beginning at 5 a.m. Friday, June 21.

Hayden Road at Loop 101

The Hayden Road westbound on-ramp and the eastbound off-ramp will be closed for 60 days beginning at 5 a.m. Monday, June 17.

Loop 101 from Hayden to Scottsdale roads

Westbound Loop 101 will be restricted to three lanes between Hayden and Scottsdale roads from 9 p.m. Monday, June 17, to 5 a.m., Tuesday, June 18.

Loop 101 from 56th Street to Scottsdale Road

Eastbound Loop 101 will be closed between 56th Street and Scottsdale Road from 9 p.m. Monday, June 17, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, and from 10 p.m. Friday, June 21, to 5 a.m. Monday, June 24.

Closures are planned to continue each weekend through the summer on a segment of Loop 101(Pima Freeway) between I-17 and Princess Drive/Pima Road as work continues on the widening project.
