Take a spooky walk with your haunted tour guide thru Flagstaff. You may meet the phantom bellboy, hear the cry of a mysterious baby or see the custodian who climbs the long gone stairs. You might even learn a little history of downtown along the way.
The storied past of Flagstaff is reflected in the old buildings and historic properties of downtown Flagstaff. None other than John Wayne claimed to encounter a Ghost at the Monti Vista Hotel. Mr. Waynes story is not unique; in fact there are many people who have shared stories of encountering the supernatural in and around the historic downtown.
Your tour guide will take you too many of the haunted hot spots and share the stories of ghost sightings and other mysterious occurrences. Flagstaff has had its share of murderers, betrayals, suicide, illness and other mayhem and mishaps. The stories of encounters with these hapless souls are part of the history of downtown. The Pioneer Museums trained tour guides are pleased to share some of these stories with folks who may want to take in a little history and get in the mood for the fall Halloween season.
