Take a Sensory Voyage to Sicily

Your taste buds will savor the Sicilian wines, cheeses and olives that will be sampled at a special event hosted by the Phoenix Sister Cities Catania Committee at 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, at the Arizona American Italian Club, 7509 N. 12th St. Attendees will be guided by a wine expert from Alliance Beverage Distributing Company to sample a selection of Sicilian wines as well as a variety of cheese and olives well known in this region of Italy. Photos of the island of Sicily by renowned Catania photographer Riccardo Lombardo also will be displayed.
