What treasured books will you find? 57th Annual VNSA Used Book Sale Date Changed to the THIRD weekend of February February 16 & 17, 2013 Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Arizona State Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall Building 1826 West McDowell Road, Phoenix, AZ 85007 Free Admission to the Book Sale. The Fairgrounds charges for parking. All books are half price on Sunday except those in the Rare & Unusual section. In addition to cash, we accept MasterCard, Visa and local checks with proper identification. We are selling over 500,000 gently used hardback books (75%), paperbacks(25%), video tapes, CDs, DVDs, books on tape and CD, puzzles, and games. The books are arranged into 27 different categories and hundreds of sub-categories. The average price of a book is between $1 and $5. VNSA is comprised of 150 volunteers who work year round to provide shoppers with great books at a spectacular value. Over 14,000 people attend the sale in 2012. Go Green. The VNSA- Volunteer Nonprofit Service Association, Inc. has attracted over 14,000 book lovers from all across the United States, and even 1 man from Australia, in 2012. This is one of the largest 2-day used book sales in the nation. The funds raised provide financial support to two local agencies: Literacy Volunteers of Maricopa County, Inc. and Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation. Since its inception, VNSA has donated over $6.5 million dollars to charities in Maricopa County. Please help us get the word out to the public that for the first time ever the sale has changed from the second weekend in February to the third weekend.
